Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Roper attended the University of Alabama where he excelled academically and graduated magna cum laude from the Honor’s College with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. During his time at the University of Alabama, Roper also served as pledge trainer for his fraternity’s incoming pledge class and volunteer as a Big Brother with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Following graduation, Roper continued his education at the University of Alabama School of Law where he was a founding member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. During law school, Roper also clerked with Owens and Millsaps, LLP, where he learned the importance of, and immense rewards gained from, helping accident victims get the justice and compensation they deserve.
Following law school, Roper served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Glenn Thompson in Morgan County. Throughout his judicial clerkship, Roper learned first-hand about the inner workings of the justice system and how to build an effective case. Following his clerkship, Roper returned to Birmingham, where he is determined to devote his knowledge and experience to help injured individuals navigate claims against big insurance companies.
In addition to helping individuals seek justice, Roper enjoys attending Alabama football games (Roll Tide), spending time with family and friends, and participating in fantasy sports.
