Richard has spent more than ten years representing individuals who have been injured. After spending one year representing insurance companies, he has devoted his career to helping those who need help the most.
Richard handles a broad range of cases including personal injury, products liability, defective medical device, defective drug, environmental contamination, construction defect, and wrongful death actions. He has extensive experience taking on some of the largest pharmaceutical and medical device companies in the county.
After graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Richard attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. Richard is licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama and has represented clients throughout the country in various multi-district litigation (MDL) cases. He is active in both the Alabama State Bar through the Volunteer Lawyer Program and the Birmingham Bar Association, participating in the Birmingham Bar Association Future Leaders Forum.
Having grown up in Columbus, Georgia, Richard is a life-long Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons fan. He and his wife, Kate Wright, have four children and are active members of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.
