Originally from Gadsden, Alabama, Perry attended undergraduate and law school at the University of Alabama. While in law school, he was President of the Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society and the recipient of the Dean’s Award, the Dean Thomas W. Christopher Award and the Dean Nathaniel Hansford Award.
Following law school, Perry clerked for the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals. He then moved to Birmingham and began his career as a civil defense attorney which has given him the advantage of seeing “both sides” of each case from negotiation to the courtroom. Since becoming a personal injury lawyer, Perry has handled all types of personal injury claims.
Perry and his wife, Terre Su, are the proud parents of two young sets of twins. They enjoy attending Alabama football games and horse races. He enjoys coaching youth sports and is a Deacon at Mountain Brook Baptist Church.
