Lee Hawker

Intake Department Manager

Lee Hawker initially joined the firm in January 2006 as a FELA investigator. He has a BA from the University of South Alabama and his background consists of extensive experience in the insurance claims industry. He was a Claims Manager for a very large insurance company and was in that industry for over 20 years with multi-line claims experience. After joining the firm, Lee became the first Case Manager and developed the workflow for the non-litigation portion of the firm. He was very instrumental in the initial success of the Justice Practice. After several years, the University of Alabama Hospital recruited Lee away from the firm to run their Hospital Lien and Collections Department. After serving in that capacity for two years, he was lured back to the firm to manage their Intake Department. Lee currently manages the Intake Department, and their primary responsibility is to screen all potential cases for the firm. Lee is happily married to his wife, Beth and they have two sons, Trey and Drew.
